Valency Networks uses industry standard tools to perform vulnerability scanning, along with a manual way of performing VAPT for better results. Following a high level list of tools that we use in network pentesting.

Kali Linux tools

Kali Linux is an open source project that is maintained and funded by Offensive Security, a provider of world-class information security training and penetration testing services. Kali Linux is specifically tailored to the needs of penetration testing professionals, and therefore all documentation on this site assumes prior knowledge of, and familiarity with, the Linux operating system in general.

Nmap scanner

Nmap provides a number of features for probing computer networks, including host discovery and service and operating system detection. These features are extensible by scrripts that provide more advanced service detection,[4] vulnerability detection,[4]and other features. Nmap can adapt to network conditions including latency and congestion during a scan.

Retina scanner

Retina scanner is the most sophisticated vulnerability assessment solution on the market. Available as a standalone application, a host-based option, or as part of the Retina CS enterprise vulnerability management solution, Retina Network Security Scanner enables you to efficiently identify IT exposures and prioritize remediation enterprise-wide.

Nessus scanner

Nessus is an open-source network vulnerability scanner that uses the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures architecture for easy cross-linking between compliant security tools. Nessus employs the Nessus Attack Scripting Language (NASL), a simple language that describes individual threats and potential attacks. Nessus has a modular architecture consisting of centralized servers that conduct scanning, and remote clients that allow for administrator interaction. Administrators can include NASL descriptions of all suspected vulnerabilities to develop customized scans.

Nexpose scanner

Nexpose is one of the leading vulnerability assessment tools. The Nexpose community edition is a free program and the other editions are paid ones. Nexpose can perform pentesting pre-assessments on a wide range of networks.

Metasploit Framework

Once scanning is performed, we use metasploit framework to perform a proof of concept penetration testing of a target network device. An expertise in this area makes us the best pentesting company in the country and helps us cater to customers who look up to us for their network vapt needs.

NSE scripts

Cultivated along with the nmap tool, NSE scripts are very valuable set of tools that we use. Those are primarily used to perform additional tasks which are beyond network security scans.

Telnet and other TCPIP tools

Being an integral part of operating system, telnet, ping and other tcpip tools are used for effective confirmation of a network vulnerability. This comes very handy especially while pentesting the firewalls and servers.

Packet crafters and injectors

Unlike most of the vendors, valency networks uses customized packet crafters to fool the firewalls and other devices, to enumerate vulnerabilities in those.

Our Culture

Valency Networks is a very agile, friendly and fun loving atmosphere and yet we maintain a cutting edge technical vibrant work environment.
